Christo’s debut feature, Ullozhukkku (Undercurrent) is a drama film about lies and deceits in a family and how it affects relationships. It tells the story of a family forced to wait for the floodwaters to subside in order to bury their loved one during a monsoon in Kuttanad, Kerala. But as they wait, many secrets and lies surface, questioning the very foundation of the family.

Ullozhukku (Undercurrent) is being produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Honey Trehan and Abhishek Chaubey under their banner the RSVP and the MacGuffin Pictures. The film stars Parvathy Thiruvothu and Urvashi.

Ullozhukku was part of the Film Independent’s Global Media Makers LA Residency (2019), the NFDC Co-Production Market – Film Bazaar (2018) and the NFDC Screenwriters Lab (2017). The project won the Cinestaan India’s Storytellers Script Contest (2018), India’s biggest feature film script contest.


Curry & Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case is a true-crime documentary directed by Christo Tomy. It investigates six deaths in the same family and the woman at the center of the unbelievable case: Jolly Joseph. It was released on Netflix on 22 December 2023.
The documentary was trending as the Global Top #2 and was in the Global Top Ten for three consecutive weeks. The show garnered more than 10M views worldwide within 3 weeks of its release and was in the Top Ten of 30 plus countries.
